Acquired an OM1 recently and was testing it out this afternoon. After a couple of shots, I noticed that the light meter was probably off by 2 or 3 stops. Took a while before it dawned on me that the battery in it was 1.5 volts vs the 1.35 volts that it was designed for. It certainly has been some time since I had a camera that used out of production batteries. More testing required with an external light meter or another camera for comparisions.

One of my guys got cut today. To be more exact, he was asked to resign or be terminated. My boss felt guilty over the whole thing. The guy did have a wife, a kid and a car to feed. Not to mention a new house to pay for.

As for me, I was so glad that I no longer have to deal with such crap.
